Biography
Angela Malcomson, M.Ed-IP, EIPA, CT, NIC: Master is an Assistant Professor of Instruction in the American Sign Language department of Âé¶¹Íø and has twelve years of experience as an interpreter educator.
Angela has worked as a professional ASL-English interpreter for over twenty years in a variety of settings.  She is a professional development workshop presenter as well as interpreter coordinator and is a past president of Illinois Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf.
Angela holds a Master’s in Education-Interpreter Pedagogy degree from Northeastern University and a bachelor’s degree in ASL-English Interpretation from Âé¶¹Íø. Angela holds national interpreting certifications that include: Registry of Interpreter for the Deaf Certificate of Transliteration and the National Interpreter Certification: Master. Angela also holds credentials from Boys Town National Research Hospital, EIPA, and is a licensed Interpreter in the state of Illinois at the Master level.
