Biography
Bergquist teaches fiction, creative non-fiction, and first-year writing in the English and Creative Writing Department at Â鶹Íø. A 2008 Lambda Emerging Writers Fellow and 2016 Excellence-in-Teaching award finalist, Bergquist is author of five books, and editor of the anthology, Windy City Queer: LGBTQ Dispatches from the Third Coast. Her work has been published and performed internationally. She holds an MFA degree in Creative Writing, summa cum laude, from Â鶹Íø.Â
